EduFem collaborates with the employability service of Reus and Tarragona mainly in the supporting migrants and NEETs. We offer mentoring, advice in employment search to the most vulnerable groups. We are an accredited center to coordinate international training and internships activities for NEETs.
FEMTEC – Digital entrepreneurship for young women in Camp de Tarragona.
With the Next Generation EU grants, EduFem is implementing the ‘FemTech’ project, with the grants from the DEPARTMENT OF ENTERPRISE AND EMPLOYMENT ‘Next Generation EU – Grants to bridge the gender gap in the field of ICT’.
Duration: 1 year (September 2024-September 2025)
Participants: Young women aged 16 to 35 from Catalonia, especially from the counties of Camp de Tarragona. Between 15 and 20 participants.
To improve self-employment opportunities for young women through the creation of digital and sustainable StartUps.
1. To improve the employability of young women in the counties of Camp de Tarragona through training in digital and ICT skills.
2. To promote female talent in the technology sector, reducing the gender gap and boosting their presence in digital industries.
3. Facilitate job placement through training itineraries adapted to the needs of the market and the connection with companies in the sector.
4. Promote the creation of a sustainable digital start-up, led by women and based on sustainable economic models.
5. Create a support and mentoring network to accompany participants in their professional and business growth.
